Since our launch in May 2011, Dawson Strategic has experienced remarkable growth. We have projects in Canada, the United States and Brazil on issues such as cross-border contraband, government procurement, energy exports, emerging market strategies, and the Canada-US border initiative.
There is no shortage of interest by business about how government actions (and inactions) in the international trade sphere are affecting their bottom line. Dawson Strategic has developed a unique market niche providing exporters with substantive policy analysis and strategies for influencing government decision makers. While I have had terrific support from research assistants, the growth of DS demanded that I add a senior researcher to the team who could manage client outreach and policy analysis with equal dexterity. No easy task!
With that, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Stefania Bartucci as Research Director at Dawson Strategic. Originally from Toronto, Stefania holds an MA in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and an Honours BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto.
She has strong subject matter expertise in borders, energy, public procurement and transportation including Asia-Pacific Gateway, Canada-US and Canada-EU agreements. With a background that combines strong government relations experience and a superb knowledge of international economics, Stefania knows how to deliver practical, business-focused analysis of trade, market access and regulatory issues for public and private sector audiences.
As Research Director, Stefania will ensure that that our client research is on point and based on the best available market intelligence.
Stefania and I look forward to working with you in 2012!
