North American competitiveness is a hot topic and to help you better understand North America’s place in the world, the George W. Bush Institute has launched a “North American Competitiveness Scorecard” to compare the competitive positions of the United States, Mexico, and Canada in the global economy. The Scorecard benchmarks North America’s performance in international rankings in a number of key areas such as business climate, innovation, economic freedom, and health and education.
Users can look at each country as a standalone and as part of a trading block and makes the relative scores of each easy to understand using a colour-coded map. It’s a great tool for building a fuller understanding of North America as a member of a global trading community.
